Not a long post today. Just me crying about my football team being horrible. We won the Super Bowl last year. We shouldn’t be so bad the year after that when we have so much talent. But they’re losing to the lowly NY Giants who are playing a rookie QB and don’t have their best WR. It’s sad.

Six weeks into the season and I’m calling it: this season is over. Ah well, Basketball season is almost here.

I’m writing this as there is about 1 minute left in the Tampa Bay vs Philadelphia Eagles game. I’ve been an Eagles fan for almost 30 years. I’ve loved sports most of my life. I’ve never been very good at watching my teams, however. I watch, but it doesn’t feel healthy, so I often have to look away or go to another room. The anxiety of being a fan is real, and isn’t something I really enjoy, despite being a huge fan of a lot of teams.

I love football. I’m a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and have been for over 20 years. I watch every game, bitch about every call (even those that go for my team), and shout “fire him!” every time something doesn’t go the Eagles way. The Washington Commanders AKA The Washington Football Team AKA The Washington Redskins, are one of the Eagle’s biggest rivals. Maybe not the biggest, fuck the Cowboys, but big enough.
